Casa Isolani Santo Stefano Bed & Breakfast - Bologna

The location is perfect-right in the heart of Bologna near fine old architecture. My room had a amazing view, made mornings extra special. A comfortable bed ensured great sleep every night. The shared kitchen area was a nice touch. I enjoyed some wine from the Isolani family's estate and homemade pastries from a nearby café. The access to the terrace also added to the charm. One downside was the numerous stairs, a bit exhausting, especially with heavy luggage. At times, the street noise from celebrations outside went on late into the night. The vibrant atmosphere was really enjoyable. I found a few of the keys a bit confusing-perhaps a labeled keyring would help. All in all, I had a fantastic time exploring Bologna from this cozy spot.

Delicious and fantastic breakfast to start the day with good coffee and jams, for example. Location not far from the center close to many restaurants, the Piazza Maggiore or the Due Torri, and the square. Plus, really close to Museum...

The shared kitchen area, where I enjoyed homemade Sicilian pastries and local wines, added a good touch to my stay.

I found the breakfast arrangement at the nearby cafe less than satisfactory due to unwelcoming service, made me skip breakfast on my second day.

The last set of stairs with heavy luggage is a hassle!!! The pantry lacks basic items like sufficient cups and glasses, completely unacceptable for a place like this!!! Loose floorboards could easily become a safety issue!!!

Man, that view from the room was somethin' else! We spent evenings on the terrace sippin' wine from the family's vineyard. The shared kitchen was cozy, too. Just be ready for a few flights of stairs. They'll get your legs goin'.

I loved the quirky little doorway into the building and the breathtaking views from my room's windows. The sun terrace is perfect for unwinding with a book or having a morning coffee. Just be ready for a little workout with all those stairs, it's worth it! 😊
